A Note From the Authors
Authors Neil Ewan and Kristian Wright are both Saturdad's who have lived experience of separation and the complexities of having limited care of their children. Kristian is a Play Therapist with 15+ years' experience across various roles in the disability and family support fields and Neil is a hard-working tradesman. We wrote this book to help children of separated families to understand and process the complex emotions around living across two households. It reinforces the vital role that a child's father plays in their life.
We are both devoted to our children and want nothing more than to see them succeed in every possible way. We know that requires the inclusion of both parents and we thank all of the amazing mothers for clicking on this page and looking at this book as a resource for their kids and co-parents.
As men who have gone through separation, we understand how can feel from a dads perspective. It’s rough for all parties involved and at times you may feel alone, but you are not.
You have joined a brotherhood of good, honest, hardworking men who only want the best for their children. You are now a Saturdad and you are more important to your child than you could ever begin to understand.
