A Note From the Authors
Authors Neil Ewan and Kristian Wright are both Saturdad's who have lived experience of separation and the complexities of having limited care of their children. Kristian is a Play Therapist with 15+ years' experience across various roles in the disability and family support fields and Neil is a hard-working tradesman. We wrote this book to help children of separated families to understand and process the complex emotions around living across two households. It reinforces the vital role that a child's father plays in their life.
As men who have gone through separation, we understand
how it feels. It is likely that you currently feel, or you have felt completely alone, hopeless and like many of the systems created to support you, are actually against you as you have navigated through the various stages of separation/divorce.
But you are not alone, and you are not hopeless. You have
joined a brotherhood of good, honest, hardworking men who only want the best for their children. You are now a Saturdad and you are more important to your child than you could ever begin to understand.
We have collated some resources and supports to help you get through separation and navigate being a single parent. Click the button below for more.
